As a daycare owner I’ve realized that one of my greatest joys is thinking up new ideas to improve our business. The hard part is actually implementing those ideas. In fact, I’ve found that executing a new idea or process is one of the hardest things to do in any business, period.

The other thing I struggled with was having good processes in place to run my business. Things such as having consistent meeting schedules and onboarding processes were always on my mind but very difficult to get off the ground.

The turning point

A little over a year ago, our regional manager brought home a book from a conference called P.R.O.F.I.T.S Childcare Success Formula. As I started flipping through the pages, I immediately noticed that the author, Caroline Jens had a very deep understanding of what it takes to run a successful childcare business. Furthermore, I was super-impressed at how Caroline laid out a specific formula for achieving childcare success with her model. I knew I had to meet Caroline and I took it upon myself to reach out to her to see what kind of services she could offer our company.

We connected on a call and Caroline explained that her business Childcare Biz Help offers a unique service called “Another You”. The service functions just like it sounds. If you want something done, Caroline and her team do it for you. Hearing this and knowing about Caroline’s background from reading her book, I felt it was a good idea to bring her on board as a consultant and hired her on that very call.

On a roll

It’s now been almost a year that I’ve been working with Caroline & Childcare Biz Help and I really can’t believe how much we’ve accomplished. We’ve had consistent weekly leadership meetings, updated employee documentation, set culture expectations, improved our recruiting and so much more. And we’re doing it in an organized and consistent fashion.

Caroline and her team have produced graphics, various operational documents and even researched new software on my behalf. It’s feels so liberating to know that if you want something done right and don’t have the time or capacity to do it, your “Another you” will take care of it.

Being part of the family

One of Child Care Biz Help’s values is “You’re family not customers” and you truly feel like family. For example, Caroline hosts intimate retreats among clients at her Lakeside home in Wisconsin where you can connect with other owners and learn from each other. On another occasion while myself and a handful of Childcare Biz Help’s customers were at a childcare conference in Austin, Caroline made sure to take us all out together several times so we could connect and benefit from one another. That connection is very meaningful, plus it’s fun to meet other like-minded owners.

SMAP, Crackle & Pop your way to even more success

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention Caroline’s latest offering – a sales and marketing platform that takes even more work off your hands. The platform nicknamed “SMAP”, takes your enrollment lead tracking, follow ups and marketing to a whole new level. It can also help organize your teacher recruitment process. And like everything else Caroline does, she’ll set it all up for you . Now, all those resumes and enrollment inquiries will be tracked in one organized platform.

Need another you?

If you’re ready to start turning your ideas into action like I did, contacting Childcare Biz Help should be a high priority for you.
